Education:
Assoc. Prof. Tayfun Yörük earned his Doctorate in Educational Administration, Inspection, Planning, and Economics from Akdeniz University, Turkey (2013-2017). He also completed a Postgraduate degree in Educational Administration and Supervision at Akdeniz University (2005-2013). His Undergraduate studies were in Computer Education and Instructional Technologies at Middle East Technical University, Turkey (1999-2004).

Assoc. Prof. Yörük is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Akdeniz University’s Faculty of Applied Sciences, Department of Management Information Systems (2018-present). He previously held the same title at Akdeniz University from 2017 to 2018.
Academic and Administrative Experience
He has significant experience in academic administration, including roles as Deputy Head of the Department of Management Information Systems (2018-2023), and as Head of the Student Affairs Department (2018-2020) at Akdeniz University. He also worked as a Branch Manager in the Department of Information Technologies (2017-2018).

His Postgraduate research focused on “Attitudes of High School Administrators, Teachers, and Students Towards Technology and Opinions on the Implementation of the FATIH Project” (Akdeniz University, 2013).
